Kobuk the black bear cub has become the darling of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. His playful antics are delightful. He can be seen charging his neighbors, the wolves and the caribou.Last fall he was up this tree. Black bears chase their cubs up a tree for protection while she takes care of any threats on the ground. Kobuk will be put in with the other black bears as soon as he's big enough to defend himself.
